REPAIRS 33 ISSUED: 09/97Refit 1. Clean seal recess and lubricate seal.2. Fit seal using 18G 1068B and 18G 1619. 3. Clean pulley and crankshaft. 4. Fit pulley, apply Loctite 601 to pulley nut thread and fit pulley nut. 5. Position tool 18G 1618 to pulley and secure with 3 bolts. 6. Tighten pulley nut to 117 Nm. 7. Remove 18G 1618 . 8. Raise power unit. 9. Fit coolant pump drive pulley, fit and tighten Allen screw. 10. Connect coolant pump drive belt. 11. Using a dial gauge torque wrench located in the coolant pump drive belt pulley jockey arm, raise arm until gauge reads 5.5 Nm. 12. Hold torque wrench in this position and tighten jockey pulley arm lower bolt. 13. Remove torque wrench and tighten jockey pulley arm upper bolt. 14. Position engine RH mounting. 15. Fit 2 bolts and tighten to 75 Nm. 16. Fit through bolt securing mounting to body and tighten to 45 Nm. 17. Align engine front mounting. 18. Fit bolts and tighten to 45 Nm. 19. Align engine front steady bar, fit and tighten through bolt to 45 Nm. 20. Align engine rear steady bar, position special nut, fit through bolt and tighten to 45 Nm. 21. Lower engine and disconnect chain from lifting eye. 22. Untie bonnet, connect bonnet struts and secure clips. 23. Remove lifting bracket from PAS pump bracket. 24. Fit ancillary drive belt. See ELECTRICAL, Repairs. 25. Position engine rear mounting and and mounting bracket. 26. Fit and tighten bolts and Torx screw to 45 Nm. 27. Remove jack. 28. Fit and tighten engine rear mounting nuts to 90 Nm. 29. Fit RH drive shaft. See DRIVE SHAFTS, Repairs. 30. Fit exhaust front pipe. See MANIFOLD & EXHAUST SYSTEMS, Repairs. 31. Remove stand(s) and lower vehicle. 32. Check and top up gearbox oil. See MANUAL GEARBOX - ’T750’, Adjustments.
