- Simon Stirley Simon's site has a very good section on 800's. Includes a very useful guide on converting cars to run on LPG and lots of very good technical data. There isn't much Simon doesn't know about 800s. Simon tells us "Regular visitors to this page or the Rover 800 mailing list may remember I had a flame red 1989 Vitesse. Well sadly this is now being scrapped as the rear arches had too much rust to be worth replacing, and I've just finished rebuilding a mk2 Vitesse with a V6 engine. So now I have a 1994 Mk2 Vitesse 24 valve, probably the only one on the road ! "
